On the 31st, the price was $48 and change. On the 1st it was $53 and change? I'd postponed getting this for five months, and decided to get it despite the price fluctuation. On the 2nd, it was $47 and change. ???The seller did not adjust the price for my order. As the price for this item fluctuates $5 ~ $6 several times a week (Goes up one day, drops the next day only to go up again the next day or the day after ... I won't buy from this seller or company again. The quality is lacking. Fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. Sanding the edges, for example. It would still look rustic if the edges were sanded. For the price the drawers should be felt lined, or at least have felt on the drawer bottoms. The three large pen/pencil compartments are too wide. I have 30 pens in mine. To organize them (vintage/formal modern/casual Modern vintage style/ballpoints &markers) and to keep them from falling over, I had to add two cardboard dividers, to make five compartments. Surprisingly, you can make labels from 3x5 card stock to fit the label holders on the front of the drawers. They are actually functional!!!Not worth $40, let alone $50.If this cost $20 to no more than $25 shipped, it would be a fair price for the quality you get.My suggestion? Go elsewhere. You don't want this organizer. I've put the replacement for mine in the appropriate wish list. I will get it when funds permit ... less than half what this cost, too. This item fit perfectly on top of my countertop, tucked in a corner. The drawers are perfect for keys, charging cables, etc. The slots fit eyeglass cases, notepads, pens and such. I'm very happy with my choice and would purchase again. The compartments are perfect size and it is quite sturdy. It can be hung on the wall as well. Everything you need is included. This caddy is large enough to hold everything as shown in in the Amazon picture, which is what I was looking for. It is sturdy and won't tip over. I keep it on my end table next to where I sit on the sofa, and the drawers are perfect for all the little bits of things usually kept there, like nail files, lip balm, floss, or anything else that is small and drives me crazy just sitting all over the table. The slots to hold everything are ok, though the front ones (where the phone is kept) are not as deep as other organizers (due to the drawers underneath). Some things I would change: In the second row of slots, the one on the right could be split in two, so that remotes or anything tall would not fall over. Also, it does say that it is rustic or shabby chic, but I would have liked the paint to be more evenly applied, without any of the base wood showing through. Also wish it came in white instead of black, but this is working out fine overall.Excellent product for organizing & excellent customer service.Love the rustic wood….plenty of slots for notepads, bills, all that stuff amd the drawers on the bottom are a bonus….really impressed especially for the priceNeeded something for my home Covid office and this did the trick. Hanging on my wall and now I have much more room to work. I like it!Like many people, much of my work shifted home—and my home desk was a mess of pens, papers, etc. What a relief to look at a mostly clear desk with odds and ends organized. The wood also helps keep it from feeling to blandly "office-like" which is also not an aesthetic I wanted at home.Perfect organizer for my space. One side of the drawer handle was warped when arrived and not flush/secured to the wood.As recommended in the packaging, I contacted the manufacturer. The product came with an unconditional warranty.Excellent customer service. Very prompt and went beyond my expectation to remedy the issue.
