I purchased a standing desk for myself years ago. It is on its own legs and raised and lowers with a manual hydraulic cylinder. Recently my wife decided she wanted the option to stand and her space isn't large enough for a separate piece of furniture. She had ordered a different one for herslef and our receptionist that sits on the desk. I found that other one unnecessarily heavy and had to be raised and lowered manually. It is black. I decided to return the one for my wife and found this model which we both agree is far superior. It has a mechaical lifting motor with the push of a simple button. It is white, much more appealing, and she is delighted with it. I think it's the best out there for this purpose. It sits sturdily on her desk, is a little smaller than the black one she bought for our admin. The company took back the second black one which we never unpackaged.I had a Veradesk Pro at work and decided to get one for the home office. I decided to go with the ultralite due to the cost, and so far very impressed. Really cant tell much difference in the two for my usage. Sturdy and works great with laptop, extra 27" monitor, mouse and keyboard. We will see how it works in the next. But the first impression is that good. It is compact, has a USB charger and is gently motorized. Buy this because everyone talks about Varidesk, but I think Varideck is overpriced.Besides VAridesk for women, it is heavy to raise and lower it. How can a wood and metal base with two springs cost $ 400?So I saw that VersaDesk is made in the USA and without anything against other markets but we must support ours and more if it is an even better price. Everyone in the office is looking into the future Versa Desk now for the lowest price.I was looking for a converter that could hold two monitors and didn't take up too much space. This fits perfectly on my benchtop. It arrives in two parts (the main desk and the keyboard tray) so it takes seconds to put together. My first desk converter was damaged during shipping and they sent me a new one within the week. The Ultralight Versadesk has a compact form factor with the ability to elevate higher than I need, and I am tall. The only two issues are that the keyboard/mouse tray is a bit small for the mouse and the holes don't align well with the tray's slots.I hate to sit at my desk all day so got this to try out. Glad I did. There really isn’t any assembly required. I set it up just as it was right out of the box, placed on top of my desk and plugged it in. As long as the item you place it on is level, it is very sturdy so it doesn’t move around or rock. It’s not loud either while raising/lowering so that’s a plus. Pretty happy with it.Performed as expected. Easy to use electric mode to raise and lower the unit to change up my work positions through out the day. This is amazing and easy to work off. Spending a little extra for the electronic lift is a must. I got this one because I only have a laptop so 40 pounds was enough. Eventually I took the keyboard tray off since I’m using a laptop. I paired it with a treadmill underneath my desk and now I no longer have back pain from sitting so much! I got the treadmill on Amazon too!
