This is an awesome light. The height of simplicity. Attach the brackets and magnets to the light bar, plug it in and turn it on, works great. Problem: the spare parts due to no instructions. I have two nuts, two washers and two lock washers that match the two bolts. But no place to put them. The bolt goes through the brackets and into the magnets without a problem, and no place to put a nut, washer or lock washer. My only actual complaint is the cord is short. A 10 foot cord that is coiled isn't really 10 feet long. You lose a lot in the coils. A straight cord would be a good 10 feet. With the coils it seems to be about 6 useful feet.Addendum on 11 Oct 2021:I bought the light in Sep 2020 and it worked very well. Didn't use it over the summer, long days reduced my driving at night. Just tried setting it up for winter and the light didn't work. I checked the fuse, tested good. I cut the cord (thought it might be a broken wire where the door pinches it) and the wired checked good. That means some kind of problem on the LED light board itself. Not really worth tearing apart the light itself since I probably could not get it resealed. Now I'll see if I can find a better light for same price or cheaper, or just buy the same one over again.19 Oct 2021 - Just got my second one of these because I can't find a better one. Still have spare parts. No idea what the 2 nuts, lock washers and little washers are for. No instructions on how to assemble, but I used the advertising pictures on the Amazon listing to assemble. You can see the leftover parts in the picture.I bought this product for my 2015 Dodge Charger for the front bumper, as an extra light. I didn’t want something that I had to do a hard wire install, because I read that some light bars have a draw on the battery, and with this one I can just unplug it and no problem. This product is great for those who need a load / backup / scene light on their vehicle and do not want to mount it permanently. I use it on a Honda Odessey 2006 van as a load / backup / scene light at night and it has been great, have no complaints. The main reason(s) I picked this one was for the following reason(s):1) 12v Cigararet plug (no hardwiring needed)2) Magnetic mount (no drilling required, also easy to remove with force)3) Pricepoint (cheap enough to not give it a try)I put this on my roof at the beginning of a 3 day road trip. Held on fine for the first two days, but on the 3rd day there were heavy winds. Had a strong gust, and the light bar went flying. I was driving 65 at the time, not anything crazy. I was fortunate that it hit the body and not a window, which only left me with a tiny dent instead of a broken window. The idea has potential but needs better magnets and mounts. The light bar is also not as bright as I expected, and the cord is really short - but those are minor compared to becoming a projectile at normal speeds.it does exactly what i needed it to do my only complaint is the cord is short for my use and it could have been longer but was easily fixed by ordering a cigarette lighter extensionEmergency servicesEast to install. Magnets are strong. But it could be a little brighter.I took the light bar out of the package, installed the brackets and magnets then took it out to my vehicle to test it and I did not turn on. checked the fuse and it looked to be intact, tested the lighter plug in the car and it was working fine. I could not find what amp the fuse was so i tested it with a 1 am fuse and it immediately popped when I switched the power on and the light flickered for half a second. There we no instructions or specs to trouble shoot the issue so I promptly returned it back to Amazon.
