The directions for assembling the bottom of the desk weren't hard to follow. But for the keyboard slide and the top, oh my, they weren't adequate. Some screws were too short for the job of putting the keyboard slide together. The actual desktop and hardware didn't match up. We've managed to find a way to use the desk, which is cute and fits the space well. But I'm sure at some point I'll be looking to purchase something more plainly explained and up to the task completely. I wouldn't recommend this item for purchase. Sorry Amazon.What I saw in the picture, and what came in the box as a finished product.......IS NOT THE SAME. I am VERY disappointed. It is right for small spaces, but definitely not what I wanted!! Too late now I guess.DO NOT BUY ! This is a terrible table. The box was missing two boards! Not able to assemble without the boards. Horrible.TO SMALL... ITS NOT LIKE IT LOOKS LIKE
