I loved the look of this little lamp upon opening, but quickly realised my standard E27 screw bulbs were not the right choice. As they do protrude quite a fair bit. (The bulbs are the standard sized ones). But I have since ordered the E27 corn LED mini screw bulbs so will see about an update when they arrive.The lamp itself is cute, just about the right size for my desk and the colour selection (orange) adds a much needed happy splash of colour on my bland white desk. Of course the light quality depends on the bulb you intend to use. The gooseneck can be adjusted to point the bulb part in any direction. I find pointing it downwards less intrusive to the eyes. The cord is just the right length but I would check measurements beforehand as my power socket is quite close to the lamp itself. Pointing downwards works for me as it’s the external keyboard usage which I need this for now the daylight hours are reducing. I would recommend this little lamp. It’s a great price and does what it needs to.Reminder bulbs not included but I would definitely suggest the smaller mini E27 screw variety rather than the larger ones
