I bought the chalked chesnut L-shaped desk, bookcase, library base, and the lateral file. My husband, who is pretty handy, put them together. He had some moments of frustration. It took a full Saturday (about 5 hours) to put the desk together. He put the bookcase and library base together in an evening after work. Though I feel they are sturdy, I probably would not drag or pull them around a lot. I love the color which is a sand or cream color. I have light blue/gray walls and white and gray accents in my office which lends to a calming vibe. I have worked from home since the pandemic occurred (2 years) but this furniture made my office feel like a real office. I think it is a good buy and feel happy with my purchase.
