Love the warm lamp setting. Is so much better than reading before bed with my actual bed table lamp, which is too bright. This did not clip super well off of my side table because my ledge was too small, but I have it clipped it off of the top of the mattress frame instead, coming up from below right over my shoulder for reading. Works great there and is easily plugged into my little power station next to my bed. I love this and actually bought it to be used for a little stay away from home for a portable lamp. I think it will work great for that!
