Bought this on Prime Day and I'm glad I did. It took two-hours to put it together, but I was drunk and stoned, haha! I'm sure a sober person could put it together faster. The directions were really basic which caused me to have to think extra hard. Once it was together, though, it looked nice.Oh! I was unable to screw the screws into the glass top to secure it with the screws they sent. I tried others but needed washers. The glass is just sitting in top for now. I'll probably secure it with gorilla glue or something.Overall I give it 5 stars because I love the desk. I just think it could have better directions and a different way to secure the top.Cheers!Hard to assemble but otherwise I like it.I bought this desk after seeing it in a neighbor’s apartment. It is perfect for my needs. She warned me that it was a bear to assemble. So I am entering this with my eyes wide open. Out of the box, the first task is to attach the keyboard glides to the keyboard arm. Sounds easy enough. Four screws. However, the screws do not appear to fit the holes. I checked other reviews and saw this was a common problem. I encountered one suggestion; i.e., to ream the holes prior to insertion. (Note: the holes in the glide and the arm DO line up. Just make sure you are using the correct holes.) I found that spraying the holes with a bit of WD-40 makes the job “easy-easy.” No need to ream. Just a big of pressure on the screw in easily goes it. Now, on to the rest of the assembly.I really like my new desk! It was worth the buy. It holds my laptop and two monitors without feeling smushed together.Good stand overall. I have a laptop and 2 big monitors on it, and they fit easily. Directions are a picture, and it can take a little time to figure out the correct hole for each piece. Had to change the pieces around a couple of times. I've seen worse. The one negative issue I have is the limited travel for the keyboard tray. It only extends 5" beyond the glass top. My other keyboard next to it has a tray that extends 11.5". So, it's a big difference between the 2. If you need to hunt for a top row key, it makes it difficult to reach and see.My keyboard also has the ability to raise up in the front for an angled keyboard. But I can't use that because the support bar for the glass top extends too low and blocks the tray travel out. The limited travel and limited tray height are my issues with the stand.I bought this desk specifically for its dimensions and material. This needed to go into an area where space was limited, as I only had 37" with which to work. Imagine my surprise when, after putting it together, it didn't fit into its designated corner. I brought out the old tape measure and found that though the depth was 23.5", the width was not 35.5" (as advertised) but actually 39.25". That was frustrating, to say the least. Also, the instructions are in small print. The lettering isn't too bad but the illustrations, which indicate the orientation of the support beams, are hardly legible. I had to remove the fastening bolts a few times to reposition the support beams so that holes for other parts could align, properly. Finally, the lettering system for the parts was hardly existent. The horizontal beams in the illustration are labeled E, F, and G. However, only beam G had a sticker on it. E and F's positions had to be logically guessed based on the two smaller support beams that make up the veritcal support structure.Overall, the desk looks good and it should work for my son's needs. However, it is frustrating to find that others have complained about the width and I only found those helpful reviews after the fact. Live and learn.3/5 stars because if there was a Rate Feature for both 'product is as advertised' and 'ease of instructions' I'd give them both a 2/5. Properly advertised dimensions are important sometimes, Amazon.Looks great and good qualityThis small (but not too small) desk is perfect for working from home. It fits two wide monitors and my laptop, so I can navigate across 3 screens while using the pull out keyboard which is at a perfect height for me.After 2 years, the desk still looks sharp in my downstairs office and has been easy to clean and maintain. The ONLY issue I've had is that the pull out shelf for the keyboard does get a little stiff and does not want to pull all the way out.All comments made about this desk are true. The style the shape the screws !!! Style nice shape nice screws - rubbish. We had to re position the screws because literally there were no screw fittings. If it had not been the fact that I needed the desk believe me it would have gone back. It is misrepresentation at its best. Shame on the suppliers for selling goods they know is substandard.Desk is well padded for delivery. Especially the glass top. All components individually marked so that there's no confusion during assembly. Loses a star because one of the components did not have screw threads machined. I had to tap these myself. Anyway desk looks good and fit for purpose. It look better than it is. The screws do not go as far as they should, really they have not paid attention to the detail on this product. It is not bad but I expected a little more care on the design.Difficult to assemble, even with the assistance of a DIY expert. Four screws also did not fit in their holes! The screws that did not fit were two for the glass top, and two for the cross beams at the back.Screws missing . Holes with no threads .
