I was surprise how sturdy this frame is. The motorized action is smooth and quiet. It starts slow then accelerates. This is good because it doesn't cause vibrations that would cause things to roll off the desk.I like the single motor design because there is less chance of the motors getting out of sync. (see reviews of other products). I also like the flexibility of using other brand parts like the top and cable management. It was easy to adjust the width. Someday I might decide to size up the top or maybe scale down.I was also impressed at some attention to detail. The kit came with grommets that isolate the desk top from the frame. This cuts vibration and prevents scratching of a real wood desk. While it doesn't some with caster wheels, the adjustable feet can be removed and replaced with casters.I find the three memory positions to be enough. I use one for sitting, one for standing, and one for a balance chair.So far I have no issues with weight capacity. I use three heavy monitors and a solid wood top.Assembly is a bit tricky but not too bad. The trickiest was inserting the synchronization rod (keeps the legs at same height). But after figuring it out I had no issues. I will so that if you have trouble assembling IKEA furniture you are going to find this assembly difficult. Personally, I never read instructions and just put stuff together. This one I had to actually read the instructions. Minus one star for of ease of assembly but I'm still quite happy with the sturdiness and value for the money.I would buy another.A quick tip for assembly: the synchronization rod might need to be rotated slightly to get it into the left side. It might only need about 1/8 of a turn. Plug it in while still upside down and let the motor do the work.
