I don't usually write reviews, but I really wanted to do this for this desk as I found someone who did a review on something similar really helped me in the building process. This desk took two people 40 minutes to put together. As you can see from my attached photos the desk can go two different ways. The thing that I did not expect, but am very happy about is that it was put together with Philips large bolts and the accepting side was not just press board, but had plastic threaded areas to screw into so it made the connection snug and tight. The directions were clear as long as you pay attention to where the pre-drilled holes are and where they need to connect. The red directions will show you which way to put each piece.I particularly like the feet as they are large and provide good stability. Also each wood board had plastic corner protectors which were very important for shipping. We will need to move this in the near future and I'm happy to see because of the plastic threaded plugs we will easily be able to take this apart and put back together.Included are also four diagonal cross bars to provide extra stability.I try to be critical about this product, but the only negative I have found is that it took a little bit longer to ship than typical Prime products. It arrived with a little bit of damage. the wood table top was chipped at the corners.Looks good and matches many of your bookcases. It was not that easy to assemble. Great price.Definitely a great desk for a home office. It has plenty of work top space. It’s very sturdy and stylish. It took 2 people to put together. YOU NEED TOOLS. It was way faster with a drill, but a screw driver and Allen wrench will do it.The desk was easy to assemble, and quite sturdy for the price. It’s missing a piece but still holding up. Also one or two of the corners of the wood is a little damaged. Thankfully not noticeable to others. All in all, I love my new desk. It seems to be holding up well, so far. I just hope that missing piece isn’t so important. This desk is for my home office. I love the leg room and my pup loves it too. He always keeps me company under my desk. I also have plenty of room for my keyboard and for writing and then some.Nice value, I have a laptop, mousepad, modem, lamp and two monitors on this desk in a remote home.I got this L shape desk for the corner of my work room. I measured the area first and the desk fit perfectly. The assembly was pretty easy. It took me about 30 minutes to put together. I recommend building it in the final location so you don’t have to move it. I started mine in the living room and realize it might not fit if I fully assembled the L shape. So I had to lift and move it in. The desk is pretty lightweight overall and yet sturdy. The surface is nice and smooth. The foot of the legs can be adjusted to fit uneven floors which is nice. This desk end up doubling my usable desktop space compare to my old desk. I’m pretty happy with it.
