The 63 inch desk is well built and fairly easy to put together, if you are a smaller person you will want someone to help you stand it up after final assembly. (I'm 5'5" and wasn't sure I could do it by myself.) The desktop comes in 2 parts but that is 2 parts the full length, so no worries with your split down the middle. I work from home and the option to stand is awesome. The lift motor is quiet, which is great during calls when I feel the need to stand up. :) The metal frame is sturdy, and the programing of heights is super easy. I'm considering getting one to use as a crafting table.I have a 72" motorized standing desk in my office and it costs $3000. This desk is sub $300 and for that it does what it should. If you received yours damaged, that is not an issue with the product, contact the seller, Amazon or both and get it replaced. Stop acting like your stuck with it, you're not and you know it.The top is 1/2" veneered particle board and comes in 2 pieces so yes, there is a seam right across the middle of the desk top. The pre-programmable heights is very convenient and easy to use. That being said, yes it is flimsy but what do you expect for the cost? The noise is very low compared to my much more expensive desk. Because the parts are thin, it is a bit wobbly and you should never expect it to hold you or any weight above that of a computer.Putting it together was fine though the direction of some of the parts matters but it is not illustrated anywhere as to what direction to line things up. The headset hooks absolutely suck, the screws that hold them on the top are not long enough and as a result they loosen up constantly. It happens so often that you would need to keep a screwdriver on hand to tighten it back up several times a day. Leave them off or get slightly longer screws. My hardware kit came mislabeled according to the instructions though the lengths were right. I ignored the letter codes the instructions called for and got through it easily enough. Should not take longer than 30 minutes to put it together.I wanted to get a more professional desk instead of the two smaller unmatching desks I'd been using for the past few years. I LOVE THIS DESK! I put it together last night all by myself and the directions were super easy, all the tools were included (except a Phillips screwdriver which I have of course) and it was ready to go before bed. It is super sturdy, I got the 63" inch desk and I love it. I also loved that I could use the monthly payment plan so that worked so perfectly for me too!I have a couple of complaints about this, but despite them the desk is great value for money if it lasts a few years.(1) At its lowest height, the desk is still a little too high for me to sit with feet firmly on the floor and arms at a 90 degree angle on my keyboard/mouse. I'm 5'4-5. I would want it to go about 1.5-2 inches lower to be fully comfortable.(2) The board is made from cheap material (plywood/composite?), and they don't provide pre-drilled holes for the screws. So you need a screw driver and some strength to assemble this. They do provide pilot holes, but they are small and were not straight on my desk, making all the connections loose. Eventually I got a stronger person with a bigger screwdriver to just force the screws in tighter (still wonky) and decided not to return it. The material also gets a bit chewed up as you force the screws in- but it’s all on the under side so looks ok on the top.I received this desk a day earlier than the date I was supposed to. Installation was mostly well and simple.Instructions were super clear. It's mostly sturdy. Some wobbles. For the price though, well well worth it.However, my complaint is that there is no cable management tray as it says in the details. I was really hoping there was a tray. Whats with that? Two little 3M ties that stick to the bottom of the desk, is not a cable management tray.I just put this together yesterday and I am very pleased. I am WFH 100% now and needed to upgrade from my Covid era setup. Overall, I love the look of the walnut-ish color. Here's a few other takeaways so far:1. Assembly - fairly simple to put together, although it took me a good 1.5 hours to assemble alone. One thing I truly appreciated that shouldn't go unnoticed is that the supplier included 1 extra piece of every hardware type just to be safe. I've received things in the past with missing hardware - that extra trip to the hardware store is such a pain. Thank you to the supplier.2. The desktop does come in two separate pieces. I'm not especially bothered by that because I use a desk pad and by the time my monitors, laptop, lamp, etc. are all on my desk, that split is no longer apparent. Something to take note of though if your setup is more exposed.3. The added mobility of the leg wheels is a dream. My office is oddly shaped and I have a south facing window, so I like to be able to shift things around a bit depending on whether I'm heads down on a project or on Zoom with clients. Awesome benefit.4. Fair cable management system included. For now, the tray included meets my needs. It currently catches everything I have hooked up. That said, as my setup becomes more robust, I will likely need to upgrade.5. The power components appear to be functioning just fine. I have setup my presets and haven't experienced any wonkiness yet. This is probably my greatest concern at this time as I have read from others that this became less reliable over time. Crossing my fingers!Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. Great bargain for the look and functionality I was going for compared to competing brands priced @ $1,500+. I just hope the long term performance doesn't fail me.It's slower than I expected but that's to be expected. I also don't like the placement of the under desk cable tray. I'm a taller guy so it's right in the way of my knees. Those are small complaints though, thus far its been a great, sturdy desk that I built myself in an hour.So going to cover the good points first since the table part of the table is pretty good:Table part is solid once assembled which is far more difficult than it needs to be but more on that later, the specific one I went for was the 100x60 black frame/rustic brown top model. The finish on the table part is great and the whole thing is very stable.Unfortunately apart from the fact that the standing aspect of the desk sort of functions that would be the end of the good points.Next I would like to give a warning to anyone looking to purchase this product, firstly add about 6cm either side of the desk for the hooks that come with the desk. In my case I had a very small amount of space to work with and had measured the size needed with very little leeway. I was concerned when I received the item that with the hooks attached I may not have the space clearance needed but decided to proceed anyway trusting that the anti-collision technology advertised in the listing would save me from any potential issues, this was my mistake. The anti-collision claims are complete rubbish, upon raising the height of the desk one of the hooks mentioned previously got caught, the anti-collision aspect was nowhere to be found and there is now a chunk missing from the bottom of the desk after the hook was ripped off the bottom of the desk.Again I only proceeded to try and make the whole thing fit with the hooks due to this advertised feature, since it didn't work and the desk is now damaged I have no idea where i stand on the warranty but since in one of the documentations provided it states that any damage caused during the use of the device is not covered I imagine any such claims would be declined. This is not the end of my issues with the electrical features of this device either, according to the instruction manual I should be able to set the minimum and maximum height the desk can change to, neither of these options work. In fact when pressing the settings button according to the instructions i should be able to switch between S- & S+ both of which do slightly different things such as setting height limits, however no matter if you hold press this button or anything else this cannot be changed and is generally pointless.Luckily the memory buttons do work so it does not impact things too much but still this is not great as if I am reading things correctly in the event of an error the desk will return to the minimum set height, which in my case would damage the desk. So lets hope I don't have any more issues although i'm not going to hold my breath. So far I have covered issues with the device itself. Next would be assembly and company practices. So firstly this company is complete scum, waited specifically for the prime day sale in the hopes of getting a good deal, this desk was the only one i could find within the size limits i needed which was on sale so i decided to go for it. This sale however was a complete lie, I purchased the desk for around £150-£160 but was charged £40-£50 in postage i believe, a few days after the sale had ended I checked the listing again to make sure it had the anti-collision tech advertised due to the previous issue and found that the table was now £200 ish with a £10 postage charge so realistically there was no discount. The box the desk came in was heavily damaged and if this experience has taught me anything in the future any purchases costing more than £50 I will be recording the unboxing from start to finish, opening the box I found all the parts included but some parts specifically of the frame were pre-assembled, chalked this up to it maybe being an out of date instruction set so continued on but as I went on found more and more indications that the frame of the desk at least was second hand. Such as pre assembled parts, dirt/gunk in some of the parts and some admittedly light scratches to the frame.Decided to continue using with putting things together as I could clean the frame and dont need to look at the damage plus figured company likely wouldn't believe me that I had not been the cause without said video. Again lesson learned.Next came assembling the top half of the desk, as others have pointed out the desk comes split into 2 halves along the length, now that it is assembled this is not an issue but the assembly process was awful. Specifically the screws used to secure the 2 sides together were self tapping and they only provide a tiny screwdriver to assemble. I tried as hard as I could to use what they had provided but in the end had to borrow better and larger tools from the inlaws to finish assembly. This is the first time I have ever actually bothered to leave a review on an amazon purchase and personally feel the review is perfectly justified. All I can say is if you intend to buy this item, record your assembly and usage from start to finish.I hope I will never be forced to use this company again as it definitely will not be by choice. The desktop is in two pieces that are split down the long edge I didn't see this in the listing. Might not sound much of a problem but it is when you don't use a mouse mat. Easy to fix with a think mat but if you wanted one piece, this desk is not for you. Furthermore, the wood pins / dowells to join the two pieces of desktop together were not supplied. They were meant to be but the accessory labelling is such a mess and doesn't match the instructions that I'm not surprised they forgot to put them in the box.Disappointing for me. Looks nice enough, but not had chance to use as I haven't fitted the desktop to the stand yet. Chasing the seller for my wood pins.EDIT: The seller provided me the missing wood pins, and it turns out that the join in the middle is not that much of a nuisance. It certainly doesn't look unsightly, but I know it's there when I move the mouse over it. Bumped up to four stars as apart from this, it's a superb desk and well worth the money.Very nice looking table, love the memory function to save sit amd stand positions. Motor is very silent. Installation instructions were not totally accurate and clear. Had to redo a few steps. Don't follow them blindly and use your judgement when something isn't clear. Still worth a buy for its quality.Using sit stand has helped my sciatica condition. It’s beautiful, it’s sturdy, smoothly operated and quiet. It has a lot of organisers for cables so if you have multiple screens, laptops etc it is perfect as all cables are hiding well. I have 140x60 and it suits my space perfectly but ideally I’d go for a deeper but it doesn’t seem to come as an option!Literally the best desk I’ve ever had!
