We used it as a desk that could be raised and lowered for a walking treadmill. And also a side table for a bed. It’s very easy to assemble and very sturdy. Perfect size!This is the only desk I've found that is sturdy as a stand up desk and easily goes down to sitting level also. Wheels allow desk to be easily moved to couch or bedside or wherever you need it. I can't believe it was less than $100!First the positives:1. You can assemble this in about 10-15 minutes (10 if you're using a power tool to put the screws in, 15 if you're doing it manually with the included allen wrench).2. It's heavy, sturdy, and made of good quality materials.3. The top of the desk is generously-sized, which is nice if you're using it to WFH. I can fit my laptop + a stack of papers + my phone with room to spare.4. The pneumatic lever to raise and lower the desk works great. If you're unfamiliar with this feature, it does not require electrical power to work (ie: carbon neutral) and it goes up and down smoothly and silently because there's no motor.5. The wheels are desk chair size and roll easily even when you have the top full of stuff. The locking casters are nice and keep it from "wandering" while you work (yes, this can happen, especially if you have cats).The only downside is the lowest position is pretty high at 29.5" (measured from the floor to the top of the work surface). This might be ok if you're using it with an adjustable desk chair, but if you're working from home and want to sit on the couch and use this, you'd have to be a giraffe. It's just too high. I'm a short person as it is (5'3"), so even with a proper desk chair, this desk would be too high for me at its lowest setting. For me, this will be a standing-only desk, which is unfortunate, because I got it for the versatility of lowering and raising it. If you're a shorter person like me, then this may not work for you, if, like me, you plan to use it to WFH, and that sometimes means you're sitting on your sofa and not in a "home office" space. I do have another desk similar to this, but without the pneumatic control and a smaller work surface, but I'm sitting on the sofa using it comfortably right now because I can lower it down to 24".Overall, this is a great desk that's easy to assemble and operate. If you're going to use it as a standing desk, it will serve you well, since it can be raised to a ridiculously high level, topping out at 45.5" which is silly - who needs a desk this high?! Great if you're a giant, less so if you're vertically challenged. Shorties, you've been warned.I was pleasantly surprised to find how easily this unit goes together right out of the box. All of the pieces were properly identified (including the hardware) and, from the moment I had it out of the shipping carton until completed assembly, it took about 12 minutes. But then I had to take it apart and start all over...One negative, before I attempted to assemble this I noticed a slight gash in the front of the desk section (see photo). I decided that I could easily cover this with some black paint which would be easier than going through the return/exchange process.The other slight negative I encountered was that the desk, once assembled, easily pulled up to full height on first attempt but then it would not slide back down no matter how many times I clicked on the lever and/or tried to push it down. After testing the pneumatic cable, I noticed that the connection to the bottom of the desk was very loose. So, I had to turn the table over again to disassemble the whole unit to check the connection. Sure enough, one of the screws that hold the pneumatic connection together was almost completely off its post. I had to tighten it all back up and then reassemble the whole unit. After that adjustment, it worked like a breeze. It was an easy solution but I had to go through the assembly process all over again. I haven’t noticed anyone else mentioning this problem in their review so I’d like to think that this was just an unfortunate one-off in my case. You will probably be luckier!The desk is attractive. It’s very sturdy. After the adjustments I had to make, the adjustable height works perfectly and easily glides up and down and stays firmly in place. The wheels snapped quickly and easily into place and they roll just fine on carpet, wood and tile and stay firmly in place when you lock them down. You can easily fit any size laptop with mouse and pad on top. (And there’s probably enough room to fit a drink and a snack, too.)Overall Value: If I didn’t encounter the gash or the pneumatic glitch, I’d gladly give the final product a 5-star review. As it stands, with those slight infractions, I have to adjust my rating accordingly. Still, it’s a pretty good deal and a very good product. If you need a solid adjustable desk on wheels, this is the one for you. Recommended.We've been using this table nonstop since we put it together. Currently it's in our kitchen as a portable office desk. It rolls very well, is sturdy, a great size & quality. However, we did find the price a little on the high side.This adjustable mobile desk is great for taller draft chairs or to use as a standing desk. It's a simple design and was easy to put together. The desk can feel wobbly at it's tallest height but seems sturdy enough. Average mobile desk work space size with nice modern black finish.
