Ordered this as a sewing chair, that I would be sitting in for long periods. Got the green which is pretty light and a heathered type color, but I wish it were more vibrant and solid. It is a soft fabric, and the seat does wrinkle when you sit on it, but it's not terrible. I am petite, and out of the box this chair is surprisingly comfortable! I can even sit cross legged with ease. My 6'3" son says it's fine for him for short periods. I might add a thin lumbar pillow, because it might need it for long periods. Quality seems good, and assembly was fairly easy except for last step of attaching seat parts. That required 2 people. I am grateful for the price. Everything else is so much more expensive right now. Even if this chair falls apart in 2 years, I can still afford to buy another.
