Watching this toy has become my way to relax for a minute or two at my desk. It's fun! The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is that it will occasionally make a little buzzing sound which can be distracting. Otherwise it's a perfect toy! Great value for the price. The motion on this is entrancing, so it's really solid sculpture and value. I had to bump it down 1 star because it kept getting stuck with the heavy part in the upright position! While that also adds to the intrigue, it forces me to restart it manually most days, which points to a bit of a QC issue. Switching directions makes it work 100% again so all is good., and the battery life is fairly decent, so overall a really nice piece.I bought this as a Christmas Present for my grandson and he love having it on his desk as decoration . Keeps him amused when work becomes boring .It’s just a lovely accent piece sitting in window, goes day and night. I broke off the magnet piece by accident and just hot glued back on and it’s been working perfectly since then. my 18 month old loves it.I knew this would be cheaply made but I was hoping it would at least be made with cheap metal. It's all plastic except for the weighted ball and magnet. It works, somewhat but the base detaches easily just by moving it. I ended up taking the metal off and leaving the battery out so my son could just spin it himself. spinning things his favorite thing to do so 2 stars just for that. :)My 12 year-old greatnephew loves this. I gave it to him for the holidays and it just kept moving all through the holidays into the new year. Without a battery change. And for all I know it may still be running on that same battery.I was also pleased with the way it is made. Sometimes these gadgets can be pretty junky, but this is very well constructed.Neat little piece. Wish it was a little heavier.Very nice and uses only one 9 volt battery instead of 4 AAA batteries used by others. Lasts a long time.
