I’m normally a size 10, size 12 if I plan on eating pizza that day. I’m 5’5, 155lbs and size 8short fit perfect for a more fitted look. It’s long enough that I can wear flat shoes in them or sandals. I would get a regular 8 if I wanted to wear heels with them. I would size up to a 10 if you want a looser pant look. I’m taking these with me to Italy and the waistband is stretchy enough for me to eat pasta and gelato with no worries!I’ve purchased 2 types of pants from this designer. I accidentally ordered the wrong pair but kept them anyway. They are now my favorite & comfortable stretch dress and casual pants. I purchased the work pants that have belt loops & buttons at each loop. I where these for work & also LOVE them. They are very thinning with the hidden stomach minimizing material. I get compliments every time I wear them. Fit true to size. Do not down size.These pants are very comfortable and you can't tell they are stretchy. My only complaint was when I went to put them on, I already brokr some of the stitching. I am hoping they will last a while?Love the comfort and they never wrinkle!The lower pant leg is wider than I thought but overall good fit. Length is just right - ordered short fit.Very happy first trying these on!! I don't normally buy work pants if I can't try them on but was amazed these slid on like a dream. I normally am a size 12 but am closer to a 13, ordered size 14 and was a perfect fit, right at the belly button, no zippers or buttons to hassle with and they look like a professional work pant while being flexible. Leg length was good, might be right at the base of my shoes. Rating four stars because I havent worn them yet.Decent pants great priceI had tried several brands and styles and this was the keeper. I have sizable hips and thighs and a smaller waist. There is no perfect pant, but this looked great on me. The only thing was, the waist was quite big, however I can simply wear a belt. If I had ordered a smaller size, the thighs would have been too tight.I have several pairs of Rekucci trousers in other styles, and have not been disappointed until now. I ordered these ones because I like the belt-loop details, and the "heathered" tones of the fabric. I really want to love these pants, but they pilled between the thighs on the first wear. I walk a lot during my workday and these pants haven't gotten off to a good start as far as quality and durability. If you have a "thigh gap" you may avoid this problem, but I am going to go out on a limb and guess that more women don't have a thigh gap than do. The three stars are for fit, style, and construction. The docked stars reflect the pilling. I have just received a new order, 3 pairs of the “smart desk to dinner” style, which I’m trying for the first time.Honestly, the colours and feel of the fabric is great. But, each pair seems to be a different size? One barely fits me as it’s too small, and one is almost baggy and too big? All the other orders I have received from Rekucci to date fit the same, despite having style differences. Not sure what is up with this one.To make matters worse, the 1 pair out of 3 that actually fits and looks the best came with this giant grease(?) stain on the butt. It was very obvious and visible upon opening the clear plastic bag.I’ll share pictures as these pants fit great and I really don’t want to return.After reading through the reviews, it appears this specific style (as of now) has similar quality themed complaints.I still maintain Rekucci has amazing pants and will continue to purchase, but I’d recommend skipping this style at this time.Love the color fit receive many complimentsI own four pairsNo hesitation to recommend sizing fits true to size!!These just arrived, so I have not yet put them to use. But so far it looks and feels good. Nice material, feels like it will hold up well. Seams appear to be well stitched. Pulling them on was a bit nervous as my butt is a wee large in comparison to my waist (about 10" difference). But the pant pulled on and fit quite comfortable with no waist gap!Eager to wash and wear. Will likely purchase others.
